We are frequently asked why we want to earn online and the answers are pretty predictable but what did you think about online earning BEFORE you started?
I have often spoken to friends about how one can earn money online but very often I've been told that they're not interested. Sometimes they clearly don't believe it's possible; sometimes they think that there is something 'dirty' or dangerous about it; most often they say that all the adverts they have seen are obviously false (and they have a point, certainly!). Sometimes, I think, people are just afraid of something new.
So what excuses have you been given when you ask people to join you as your referral or tell them that it's possible to earn money online? What excuses did you make before you finally took the plunge? What actually convinced you in the end and how did you convince somebody else to start earning online?
Most of us are embarrassed to sing in public but how many of us sang lullabies to our kids?
My mother used to sing to me but it was really the songs my dad sang to me (and he was no singer) which I remember. I passed those on to my children (or, at least, I sang them) but I don't know if they remember them the way I do. They have never said!
My mother used to sing 'Rock-a-bye Baby' (but to a different tune to the one most Americans seem to know - and it always grates when I hear the other tune!)
What lullabies do you remember and do you think that music (whether it's sung or played) is a very calming thing for little children?
How long does it take to get fed up with a game? I was ploughing away on my Farmville farm (and singing a happy, traditional ploughing song with a straw in my mouth) when I hit oil! A message popped up saying would I like to share it ... well, sure! Sharing is good. But then it put a message up saying that I was plowing on my farm and struck oil - black gold! I can't use all of it myself!
Grrrrr! Of course I can use all the fuel I can get (or trudge around harvesting, ploughing and sowing each plot individually, I suppose).
Seriously, though, I'm a rod to my own back! I have two Facebook accounts and a Farmville and Farmtown app on each. I used to be into horse racing but got tired of that. I reckon each game has a 'life' (depending on the person).
Do you (or have you) played online games? (Not necessarily Facebook ones). Did you find that there is a limited life to them and does it depend on whether you paid real money or is it just frustration with its limitations, lack of interest or a feeling that it was a waste of time? We all need relaxation and, for me, various patience (card) games and things like Bejewelled are the ones that supply that. It seems that 'Sim' type games are fun for a little while but soon pall!
'Food watchdogs have said hyperactivity in children is definitely fuelled by additives in sweets, biscuits and fizzy drinks.
The Food Standards Agency Study confirms kids who have eaten E-numbers find it more difficult to sit still and concentrate.
They also have problems reading and become loud and impulsive.
Psychology Professor Jim Stevenson, who led the FSA-commissioned study, said: "We now have clear evidence that mixtures of certain food colours and benzoate preservative can adversely influence the behaviour of children.
"There is some previous evidence that some children with behavioural disorders could benefit from the removal of certain food colours from their diet.
"We have now shown that for a large group of children in the general population, consumption of certain mixtures of artificial food colours and benzoate preservative can influence their hyperactive behaviour."
He added: "However, parents should not think that simply taking these additives out of food will prevent all hyperactive disorders.
"We know that many other influences are at work but this at least is one a child can avoid."
The FSA will now send the findings to the European Food Safety Authority, which is reviewing the safety of all EU permitted food colours.
A food and drink industry representative said the way the additives were tested was not the same as they were used in everyday products.
Julian Hunt of the Food and Drink Federation said: "It is important to reassure consumers that the Southampton study does not suggest there is a safety issue with the use of these additives.
"In addition, the way in which the additives were tested as a mixture is not how they are used in everyday products.
"As a responsible industry, we shall be studying the detail of the research and companies will clearly take account of these findings as part of their ongoing review of product formulations.
"The industry continues to respond to consumer demand by reducing the use of additives and there are many food and drink products on supermarket shelves that contain no artificial colours." '
I do dislike the phrase 'kids who have eaten E-numbers' ... some E-numbers are perfectly safe! It is simply a reference system for standard additives. However, it can be a way for manufacturers to hide behind bureauocracy and SOME additives are definitely suspected of causing problems. Now we have some official evidence!
My particular hates are annato and many sweeteners which are passed off as harmless but may be carcinogenic - likely to lead to cancer.
Which camp do you fall into? Do you believe that the FDA has our best interests at heart? Are you running scared at all the E-numbers/additives our food has or do you research your foods and know what is likely to be acceptable and what is not?

This always happens to me whenever I am at their house. When my daughter has done something she should not have done, I sometimes am strict with her and these are the times when my parent’s interfere telling that she is just a small child. I hate it when they do that! Now my daughter has learnt to run to them when I scold her or ask her to do something. I do agree grandparents can be a little lenient, but to the extent of spoiling the child? My father gives her chocolates everyday! I tell him not to do that and so he gives it to her without my knowledge. The child anyway comes running to me telling that grandpa gave her a chocolate. I am so frustrated. When will they learn and how do I make them understand? It has gone to the extent of me not taking my daughter to their place quite often just because they spoil her. What do I do?

I went to the place where my husband stays and he took me and my daughter to a theme park. We had a good time in the water and then the problem started. My husband and my daughter wanted to go in the rides. I am terrified of going in the rides, but I did not want to disappoint my daughter, so I got into the big swing. The minute it started, I knew it was a big mistake. The ten minutes it went on was the worst of my life. I had to try very very hard not to throw up and all the time my eyes were closed and my heart was in my mouth. I was still shaking for a very long time after I got down. I know I will never ever get into a ride again.
I know most of them find it exciting and exhilarating. But for me, it was terrible. How about you?
We do still kiss with our eyes closed, unless it's a peck. We're so in love that not only do I get excited once he's home from work, but I get super excited when he calls me from work less than a half hour after he leaves the house. I find myself so much more comfortable with everything in life when he's around. Sure, I have hobbies, I have friends...but none of it matters as much as one day with him does.
Quite honestly, I feel awful for those people who feel as if their spouse isn't enough to make them content. I know how it feels for my spouse to mean the world and beyond to me, and it is beautiful! That's why I spent four years engaged to him, keeping things realistic and preparing for the rest of our lives, rather than rushing through like most. If the rest of the world disappeared and just left us, that would be A-OK for me.
After being with your partner for many years and after finding out more about him/her, do you still find your spouse attractive?
I am amazed to see what some parents do to make their children do well in school both in studies and extra curricular activities. There is a fancy dress competition in my daughter's school for lower nursery students and some of the kids including mine have enrolled themselves for that. The other day, when we parents(read mothers) were having a small chat after school, I could sense the mothers present there so tensed as to what their child would wear and how she/he would talk etc. One mother had gone her way out and refused to even tell others(to the point of being rude to others including myself) what her daughter was dressing up as. But she made it a point to ask all the others what they were planning. Finally, anyway, her secret was out and she was so disappointed at the other parent who revealed it!
There was something I noticed in all the mothers present there. They wanted their children not only perform well but to win the competition. That is ok. But they were putting undue stress on the children and the poor kids looked so bewildered as to what the fuss was all about. I am more than happy to let my daughter participate. I know I will enjoy it as well as she. It is an added bonus if she wins, but it does not make any difference to me. For me, participation and enjoying what she does is more important than winning. And as far as the competition is concerned, the kids are three for crying out aloud! I don't know what all the fuss is about, getting all worked up for their kids to win! Or am I the only one who thinks this way? Does it mean I am not competitive enough? Please share your views.
(And today was the preliminary selection and my daughter got selected!)
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PlayStation MOVE. All opinions are 100% mine.
Sony has come out with motion controllers to compete with the Wii; there is no comparison with Playstation Move. The Playstation Move has those great HD graphics that are severely lacking on the Wii, and the accuracy of the PlayStation Move is on par or better than the Wii MotionPlus. What can go wrong? Can you imagine what the experience will be like with full blown games like Killzone 3?
The Playstation Move controllers are pretty precise you actually configure to your body and movement. You can add your picture in the game which I thought was pretty neat, Controllers easy to use for all ages. They have several games that are already out that you can use with the controllers such as tiger woods 11. I can’t wait for sports champion to come out next month. Controllers light up when activated. The controller’s can be re-calibrated if necessary during a game. Playstation hit it out of the park on this one. The games are easy to load and upgrades are available too. The controllers do have two parts like the Wii but are not necessary to play games. You can you the main controller for most games. Battery life on the controllers is pretty good we played all night and did not have a problem. This was great because you charge it on ps3 not battery operated which I love.
The Move was slightly expensive despite the fact I already had a PlayStation Eye camera, which the Move needs for the controller to work properly. I purchased a regular PlayStation Move controller, sub-controller, charging stand and Sports Champions at GameStop for $160. That is somewhat expensive considering that you also need to buy the console and camera as well. There are some bundles out there for only $99 with the MOVE bundle package! I think Sony should offer more bundles, such as two and four pack PlayStation Move controllers.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of TiVo. All opinions are 100% mine.
We have had TiVo for a while now. I firmly believe this is the greatest invention of our generation! It gives YOU complete control of your schedule! I get to decide when to watch my favorite show, I don't have to watch those pesky commercials, and my husband and I frequently let things, such as Tennessee Vols Football Games, to "get ahead of themselves", so that we can fast forward through half time! It wonderful to have the flexibility to go to work, or out to eat, and know that I don't have to miss my favorite shows! No more do I have to work myself around the TV schedule, I work it around mine! Thanks TiVo!I don't think I can live without it anymore. My family is huge on fall premieres and we're so excited for our shows to start back up. We big into Criminal Minds, Glee, Modern Family, The Mentalist, Mad Men, and more!
With Fall TV Premieres, you can use TiVo Search and TiVo Collections features to find upcoming episodes and the entire previous seasons of your favorite shows on Netflix, Amazon On Demand or Blockbuster On Demand. This year you can subscribe to their Fall TV Guru Guide to discover all the new shows premiering this fall so you won’t miss the great shows to come or be up to date with the buzz on your favorite actors and actresses. I cannot spend much money in buying DVD's and use it for one time only. So I'd rather have to switch on TiVo Premiere.
Do you have a TiVo? If you do (and more notably if you don't) you should keep updated about their latest features and newest gadgets by following them on facebook. You can follow their Facebook Fan Page here.
You can also Enter to Win a new TiVo Slide in the 30 Slides in 30 Days Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes ends on September 22, 2010.
I had been considering a puppy for quite awhile. Monica and Little Bit are really great at lying around and doing nothing, which isn't good for Dachshunds. I thought about a toy Chihuahua which could be easily carried around. Someone had other ideas for me.
We came out of the grocery store and standing there was a young woman holding a Dachshund puppy. Bill pointed her out to me, so I had to go over and see the puppy. It turned out that she was giving away the poor little boy. So guess what soft hearted (or is that headed?) person immediately collected the puppy. Yes, good ole Loverbear. He is a sweet little boy, and there isn't anything that has frightened him yet. He has met all the family members and none of them phased him in the least bit. I figured that Abby would scare the daylights out of the tiny guy, but he went right up to her and touched noses to say hello.
I was even more amazed when I decided to stop on the drive home and take him for a walk. I had some cord in the back of the car and made a collar out of one end and the rest was the leash. He padded along with no problems, he didn't even balk at my walking him back and forth...and he didn't get frightened when vehicles drove by us. He slept in my lap during the rest of the drive home.
Now, I am trying to figure out what to name him. It's going to take a couple of days to figure out the name for the new family member, and even longer for Bill to quit kicking himself for pointing out the little guy and to accept that I grabbed him in a heart beat. The only problem now is his mouth. He is busily letting the world know that he isn't happy being in the pen with Monica and Little Bit. They are just sitting there watching him whine. I'm fairly sure that will stop when I turn off the lights and go to bed.
Okay, how about some name suggestions! I don't want the usual names for dogs...
In a relationship every corner is tested. Patience is one of the important reasons why any misunderstanding and simple arguments fix up because in the relationship you’ll need to give 100 percent of you to your partner and patience is tested.
I really do feel that relationships take more patience then some people comprehend - but if its keeping your patience because he/she is lazy and won't help out, or I don't know... is going to the bar all the time, or things of that nature - you're going to have to speak up sooner or later and clue your partner into the fact that they're frustrating you because of blah blah blah.
If we never tell our partner how we're feeling or what our needs are, then we'll probably have to practice a lot more patience.
If we keep them on the same page with us - let them know the reasons BEHIND the fact that we've been so patient, maybe that little light bulb will click on and they'll start helping more or start staying home more...
Its definitely teamwork! And in order for good teamwork, there has to be plenty of positive communication :)
What things have happened that makes you wonder about people's intelligence? Let's face it, every minute of every day there is someone out there that is doing something not quite so bright, lets share the dim bulbs actions.

I was driving to my first client's house today when I spied a most sad sight. There was a doe laying beside the road. She seemed to be laying there looking at the scenery. I noticed her little leg was laying in a crooked way. She must have been struck by a vehicle and crumpled on the side of the road.
It was all I could do not to stop. There was a woman who stopped and was walking toward the poor little deer. It tugged at my heart. Sometimes they are able to take the animals to the vet and have them treated for their injuries. A local park takes them in once they are on the mend and cares for them. I hope that this was the ending to this story. I'd rather not think of what else might have happened.
I am curious as I recall in school all the "cool" kids were wearing $65+ jeans. My mother couldn't afford that so I got K-mart brand jeans & she'd buy all the same color/style too *sigh* But now I don't really buy the fancy ones either. I usually buy store brand or Lee jeans & I buy them when I find a deal. But I won't spend anymore than $30.

I grew up with people that love to sing off-key into the microphones to some weird song. As a kid, I never really liked hearing them and I always thought that adults do the weirdest things! As an adult, my tune has changed and I'm the weirdo behind the mic belting out an 80's rock number to willing and unwilling audience members. It's a great thing I found people who love it just as much as I do. There is nothing like good clean fun to end the week off right. And for those of my friends who insist that they DO NOT karaoke, they are usually the ones we have to fight with over the mics. No matter how bad we sing and how many times the neighbors might call the police to our door, in our minds, we ARE the next American Idols! And Hey! All of you aspiring music artists out there! Guess what? There is a huge opportunity being offered to you by PopStation. PopStation is an online music & entertainment singing experience that gives music artists the chance to be noticed by the public. The prize you are going to sing for is called: The Big Deal, A VIP album recording experience. How does that work? It's really simply actually. Just register for free and head over to the practice rooms. There, you can download the Popstation Studio software, practice and download your song, record your song and finally, upload your recording to join the contest. Songs will get voted by the Popstation audience – no celebrity judges or panels.
If you are #1 on the charts you win "The BIG Deal" where "The Artist Formerly Known As You" and a guest will enjoy an all expenses paid three night stay in NYC at a ridiculously hip hotel. You will be picked up in a luxury car service and whisked off to a professional recording studio where you will spend two days recording your very own album with the help of a professional production team.
When I went into my garden. The garden is edged by rose bushes, some of them are about 20 years old and very well established. Some of them were lost last year due to some hard freezing. I had gone into the back yard last month and did the weed eating (some of the weeds were four feet tall!). In among the weeds was one of the rose bushes trying hard to start over. It was one tiny little shoot that was about 6 inches tall. I was so proud of the bush for trying to come up again. As I worked my way through the weeds I tried hard to remember to be careful around the little shoot, but I was getting tired and my bad leg was getting very weak. Suddenly I toppled over and accidentally weed ate the little shoot. I was crushed and felt really bad about the little shoot and my cutting it off.
Today I was fertilizing the garden and happened to look at the fence where I had chopped down the shoot...and I was so surprised to see that another shoot had grown in its place. Even through adversity the rose bush was determined to grow again. It made me stop and re-assess my life and what I was doing with it. Even when I am hurting so badly and feeling sorry for myself, I need to look at the tenacity of that rose bush and keep going.
How about you? Do you have things happen to remind you that you need to keep going?

All my friends like to travel and I have a dream to go for a trip together with two or more of them. So we should decide where to go ‘cause they all prefer different places…one of my friends prefers wild nature... another wants to be in a centre of a big city life… this Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes might be the answer. What could be better than winning a free stay at a Hampton Hotel for one weekend with my 100 friends and me? I would be a pretty happy girl to be surrounded with everyone I like to party with for a weekend of fun, not to mention, the winner will also receive $5000 to help pay the tax for the weekend.Imagine all of the different things that you could do with a hotel that is full of all of your friends. From running massive indoor games, to having a giant pools party, to making sure that none of your friends need a designated driver, there limits of what you can do with a hotel full of your own friends is almost endless.
The Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes is open to residents of the U.S., Canada (except Quebec), UK and Mexico. I have already entered and you should too but HURRY because it ends on September 4, 2010! This sweepstakes is sponsored by Hilton Worldwide.
Traveling with friends is one of the fastest ways you can get to know someone really in depth. You will learn more about someone from traveling with them for a week than you might from hanging out with them for a month.
As I have posted previously, I am now learning to wire wrap. My mom gave me her rock tumbler, to tumble some rough gemtsones, for wire wrapping projects. I hooked it up last night, and have some stones currently tumbling. I just purchased some rubies to tumble, and have some Amethyst rough already. I am excited to see how they turn out. They take a very long time. Here is a Picture Jasper pendant I wrapped for a friend in Nevada. She donated to me a bunch of stones, she tumbled herself, and I made this for her to thank her. It is not real fancy, but I didn't want to hide the picture on the stone.
Not so. I plan each day’s activities on my dry erase board. I have lists of things to do around this place that don't quit. Everything from cleaning the leaves from the neighbor's oak tree out of my yard (I ABSOLUTELY HATE, LOATHE, DETEST, OAK LEAVES WITH THOSE LITTLE PRICKLEY THINGS ON THEM!!) to special cleaning jobs I want to get done in the house. I feel so much better when I can wipe a chore off the board. Anyhow two days in a row my boy friend has come in with something to do other than what I have scheduled to do. Friday afternoon in the 100 degree heat it was getting a load of the wood and bringing it to my house and unloading it. (That really helped my aches pains and feeling sick) Saturday it was going to another neighbor's house and getting another load of wood, in the heat, and unloading it at the house. (That shot the crap out of that list) The he said after we finished unloading the wood that Sunday "WE" needed to clean out the lower carport so "WE" can start cutting the wood and stacking it. So, I cleaned the carport today and shot the list all to you know where, AGAIN!
My question for all of you is: Do you make plans to do one thing, and the person you love or are involved with changes them for you? Does it aggravate you as much as it does me?
Today we learned that the job we thought would be first shift is actually a second shift position. The upside is that the money is really good. The downside is that my evenings will be without him by my side. I actually cried when he told me this news.
We are hoping that he will be able to move to first shift soon. Until then I will travel to his place of work every night to have dinner with him. I will nap during the evening so I can spend time with him when he gets home. We will adjust.
Love this man and am happy that he has a better job.
How would you adjust to having someone you love having around not be around?

What do you do with old clothes? We all have to clean out our closest eventually! I find myself doing it more and more these days because on average I have moved once a year over the past 5 years! So for each move, I try to lessen my stash of clothes. I usually move anything out that I did not wear in the past year. Once I've cleaned out my closet, I try to sell the clothes that I want to get rid of , in a lot, on Craigslist. I usually put all of the clothes in a box and ask like $25-$40 for the whole box of clothes. All of course depending on how much and what was included. I've had great success doing it this way!
How often do you clean out your closest? And what do you do with the clothes that you have cleaned out and no longer want/wear?
I'm just curious if any of you die hard WWE fans have converted to TNA now that they seem to have all the "oldies but goodies."
I have been watching TNA for years as well as WWE. I am pretty much the type of fan that really watches no matter how bad it is. And believe me, in my time, I have seen some pretty bad wrestling. I really think that TNA has the tools to succeed and it can be a more intense form of wrestling, to combat the recent PGized WWE, but exactly how it utilizes them is another matter entirely.
Although it is nice to see people like Flair, Hogan, Sting, Nash and the like, and even people from the glory days of ECW like Team 3D, RVD, and others, some of these wrestlers have lost a few steps. It can be great to see them every now and again in the ring but they are best utilized as personalities and mouthpieces. Also, they have much wisdom that can be useful for the next generation of competitors coming up. Ric Flair in particular is really showing his age these days but he is still the best promo in the business. His interaction with Jay Lethal as of late has been entertaining, especially last Thursday. TNA has a mix of the stars of yesteryear and some of the greatest young talents today. The real problem is management.
Say what you want about Vince McMahon, but he knows how to run a business that makes money. It might not be the most entertaining at times and its a bit too kid friendly these days for various reasons, but Vince does generally know what makes him money. TNA has some entertaining moments but they have a three wheel car that can't even get out of the driveway and they need that fourth wheel. Of course, it is hard to really get too successful, because for most, WWE is wrestling and most people will not give another show a second look. Which is really a shame.

Do you ever give giftcards for a gift? Gift cards are such a great gift to give. If you are having difficulty to decide what to give for you’re loved ones on their birthday, send them a FriendGiftr instead. It can work for just about any occasion! Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, showers, graduation, even religious occasions they have more than 135 stores to choose from. It comes with $10, $20, $25, $35, $50, $75, and $100 gift card value. And who doesn't like getting a gift card to their favorite store or restaurant! I know it's always so nice to have one tucked in your purse for when you're a little short on cash too!I haven't tried shopping for gift cards at their site yet but it sounds like a great idea. If the receiver doesn't like the store or restaurant that you chose, they can exchange the gift card for any other gift card at no additional cost and without the buyer knowing.
And what’s even cooler than that?? You can use their service from their website, Facebook, iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android.
I enjoy doing arts and crafts. I do it to while my leisure time. Sometimes, instead of going to the mall or watch television, i gather my crafting materials, laid them on a table and start working on my projects. I find it enjoyable and productive. As for now, i am doing scrapbooks of my photos during our recent travel in Singapore and Malaysia. I also love doing origami although i only know few designs as of now. I also do sketching and collect poems and beautiful short stories and put them in an album. If only i have really more time to do all them a lot, I just love to bring out that creative side within me. I find myself productive when doing stuffs like that.

When my husband expressed interest in going back to school to earn his degree in Early Childhood Education I was very supportive. Our major concern was the cost and how he would find time to do it. I sat down and researched schools that offered online courses in the field he was interested in. Ashworth College was the one school that we kept going back to. I filled out the form online to get more information and within 15 minutes someone had called him and was answering all of the questions that we had.My husband was connected with one of the nicest admissions reps that I have ever met. She spent hours on the phone answer questions and after he decided that Ashworth was the school that he wanted to attend, they connected him with the financial aid department and his aid went through and his classes started within a week.
Each class is 5 weeks long and he loves every minute of it. If he ever has a question that entire he has to do is call and they return his calls almost immediately.
There is no better time to start than today as there are flexible and self-paced classes so you can study whenever and wherever you want to. There is also Research that shows Ashworth tuition is 50% less than the average accredited online school, so you can keep more of your money while you earn a Online degree to make more money. This makes it unlike other programs; you are guaranteed to graduate without student loan debt. We are talking about zero-interest financing plus a low monthly payment plan and tuition includes all books and course materials. You can even transfer up to 75% of credits earned at other schools.
1) Make cute waste aprons, you can use other fabric to make a fun trim, this is a great gift for a little girl, or jazz it up for an older gal in your life.
2) Use just the pockets from several pairs to make a fun wall organizer for a teens bedroom.
3) Cut a bunch of squares out of the legs, all the same size, and make a lawn quilt. Perfect to take on picnics and such. The material is heavier and won't blow away as easily.
4) Make some potholders. The material is thick which is perfect, add some quilt batting in between to pieces and there you have it. :)
Hope these ideas help a little bit, if you need more, please feel free to pick my brain. I can come up with a ton.
Happy Crafting!

I have been making jewelry for years using gemstones, and traditional castings, and semi mounts. I recently have started making gemstone bead jewelry. This is only my third piece, and I love it. It is rhodochrosite and neon blue apatite necklace. I want to make a bracelet, and anklet too with the blue apatite gems that were left over. I am still learning the art of picture taking, so don't mind that. If you make jewelry please share some of your work for all of us to look at.
I was thinking about my first love the other day, and realized that as much as I loved the man I am now not in love with him like I was when I was younger. I then wondered how many people; who when given the opportunity, would reconnect with their first love and even marry them.
I am actually happy that I didn't marry the man, and had the opportunity to live my life as it has been. I don't think that I would even want to reconnect with the man.
Marrying your first love sounds sweet and everything but is it always a good idea?
I think sometimes a first love might be more of a lust thing than love, maybe because it's your first love you don't really know what love can feel like? I'm not telling people to not marry their first love because I think it would be really romantic, I'm just thinking that it isn't always a good idea.
What have your experiences been?
