WWE fans have converted to TNA now?

I'm just curious if any of you die hard WWE fans have converted to TNA now that they seem to have all the "oldies but goodies."

I have been watching TNA for years as well as WWE. I am pretty much the type of fan that really watches no matter how bad it is. And believe me, in my time, I have seen some pretty bad wrestling. I really think that TNA has the tools to succeed and it can be a more intense form of wrestling, to combat the recent PGized WWE, but exactly how it utilizes them is another matter entirely.

Although it is nice to see people like Flair, Hogan, Sting, Nash and the like, and even people from the glory days of ECW like Team 3D, RVD, and others, some of these wrestlers have lost a few steps. It can be great to see them every now and again in the ring but they are best utilized as personalities and mouthpieces. Also, they have much wisdom that can be useful for the next generation of competitors coming up. Ric Flair in particular is really showing his age these days but he is still the best promo in the business. His interaction with Jay Lethal as of late has been entertaining, especially last Thursday. TNA has a mix of the stars of yesteryear and some of the greatest young talents today. The real problem is management.

Say what you want about Vince McMahon, but he knows how to run a business that makes money. It might not be the most entertaining at times and its a bit too kid friendly these days for various reasons, but Vince does generally know what makes him money. TNA has some entertaining moments but they have a three wheel car that can't even get out of the driveway and they need that fourth wheel. Of course, it is hard to really get too successful, because for most, WWE is wrestling and most people will not give another show a second look. Which is really a shame.

Do you ever give giftcards for a gift? Gift cards are such a great gift to give. If you are having difficulty to decide what to give for you’re loved ones on their birthday, send them a FriendGiftr instead. It can work for just about any occasion! Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, showers, graduation, even religious occasions they have more than 135 stores to choose from. It comes with $10, $20, $25, $35, $50, $75, and $100 gift card value. And who doesn't like getting a gift card to their favorite store or restaurant! I know it's always so nice to have one tucked in your purse for when you're a little short on cash too!

I haven't tried shopping for gift cards at their site yet but it sounds like a great idea. If the receiver doesn't like the store or restaurant that you chose, they can exchange the gift card for any other gift card at no additional cost and without the buyer knowing.

And what’s even cooler than that?? You can use their service from their website, Facebook, iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android.

Do you like doing arts n crafts?

I enjoy doing arts and crafts. I do it to while my leisure time. Sometimes, instead of going to the mall or watch television, i gather my crafting materials, laid them on a table and start working on my projects. I find it enjoyable and productive. As for now, i am doing scrapbooks of my photos during our recent travel in Singapore and Malaysia. I also love doing origami although i only know few designs as of now. I also do sketching and collect poems and beautiful short stories and put them in an album. If only i have really more time to do all them a lot, I just love to bring out that creative side within me. I find myself productive when doing stuffs like that.

This online school rocks

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ashworth College. All opinions are 100% mine.

When my husband expressed interest in going back to school to earn his degree in Early Childhood Education I was very supportive. Our major concern was the cost and how he would find time to do it. I sat down and researched schools that offered online courses in the field he was interested in. Ashworth College was the one school that we kept going back to. I filled out the form online to get more information and within 15 minutes someone had called him and was answering all of the questions that we had.

My husband was connected with one of the nicest admissions reps that I have ever met. She spent hours on the phone answer questions and after he decided that Ashworth was the school that he wanted to attend, they connected him with the financial aid department and his aid went through and his classes started within a week.

Each class is 5 weeks long and he loves every minute of it. If he ever has a question that entire he has to do is call and they return his calls almost immediately.

There is no better time to start than today as there are flexible and self-paced classes so you can study whenever and wherever you want to. There is also Research that shows Ashworth tuition is 50% less than the average accredited online school, so you can keep more of your money while you earn a Online degree to make more money. This makes it unlike other programs; you are guaranteed to graduate without student loan debt. We are talking about zero-interest financing plus a low monthly payment plan and tuition includes all books and course materials. You can even transfer up to 75% of credits earned at other schools.

Things to Do With Old Jeans

1) Make cute waste aprons, you can use other fabric to make a fun trim, this is a great gift for a little girl, or jazz it up for an older gal in your life.

2) Use just the pockets from several pairs to make a fun wall organizer for a teens bedroom.

3) Cut a bunch of squares out of the legs, all the same size, and make a lawn quilt. Perfect to take on picnics and such. The material is heavier and won't blow away as easily.

4) Make some potholders. The material is thick which is perfect, add some quilt batting in between to pieces and there you have it. :)

Hope these ideas help a little bit, if you need more, please feel free to pick my brain. I can come up with a ton.

Happy Crafting!

Apatite Jewelry

APATITE NECKLACE

I have been making jewelry for years using gemstones, and traditional castings, and semi mounts. I recently have started making gemstone bead jewelry. This is only my third piece, and I love it. It is rhodochrosite and neon blue apatite necklace. I want to make a bracelet, and anklet too with the blue apatite gems that were left over. I am still learning the art of picture taking, so don't mind that. If you make jewelry please share some of your work for all of us to look at.

Happiness without marrying a first love

I was thinking about my first love the other day, and realized that as much as I loved the man I am now not in love with him like I was when I was younger. I then wondered how many people; who when given the opportunity, would reconnect with their first love and even marry them.

I am actually happy that I didn't marry the man, and had the opportunity to live my life as it has been. I don't think that I would even want to reconnect with the man.

Marrying your first love sounds sweet and everything but is it always a good idea?

I think sometimes a first love might be more of a lust thing than love, maybe because it's your first love you don't really know what love can feel like? I'm not telling people to not marry their first love because I think it would be really romantic, I'm just thinking that it isn't always a good idea.

Pattern (sewing)

I am looking to find some easy to follow sewing patterns for making soft toys and dolls clothes, I have tried numerous websites and not found anything easy enough to follow just yet, I am not used to making things like that on a sewing machine, however I did used to work in a sewing factory many years ago but all our patterns were cut out for us, I want to make something that I can sell eventually as I do actually make jewelry and scented candles but want to try something new for a change, any ideas or links would be very helpful.

Why Is ScrapBooking So Popular?

Why is scrapbooking so popular? It seems that it is far and above the leading craft in this day and age. I don't understand what the attraction is, so maybe someone can explain it to me.

I came across a scrapbook, that I made 40 years ago when I was a teenager, and I still have it, but after you have made one scrapbook...what do you do then? Make another? Add to the one you made? And what is the fascination of pasting pictures from magazines, poetry you've written, etc., in a book. It doesn't seem to me that a scrapbook will not last. The one I made is all in a mess, because the glue and scotch tape has dried out and let go, and the papers are everywhere. So please, educate me.

Medical Problems

My friend britney, before she retired, developed these weeping sores on her lower legs. It dripped not blood, but a clearish, yellowish fluid.

I took her to the doctor and he determined they were static ulcers and needed pressure bandages to heal.

Once a week for over a month, I took her in and had those darn bandages replaced.

Flash forward a few years and I was asked by a co-worker if I would look at a wound on her leg.

No, I'm not a doctor, but because of all of my and britney's medical problems I was pretty good at giving advice it seems. Kind of like guessing what could be wrong with a cat because I've had so many and so many sick ones.

I took one look and said, "Static ulcer, you need to see your doctor and get pressure bandages."

Then I saw a friend, the one who died recently, and I saw those weeping wounds on her legs. I told her that she needed to see the doctor before they got worse.

So, are you ever asked to "consult" your friends about medical problems? Are you ever right?

The annoying thing about being right often enough is that when you don't know something, people sometimes don't believe ya!

Not Getting Enough Sleep

Let me start with the fact that I have trouble sleeping. Not going to sleep, but staying asleep.

Now, lets not jump in with quick suggestions, because tonight had a really annoying reason for being awaken at 12:30.

We went to bed early, because the last few nights we have been not getting enough sleep for various reasons, so I was already about 4 hours into my sleep cycle and a time I often awaken anyway.

But I couldn't figure out why I was awake.

Then, there was the sound of a helicopter and/or small plane that gradually got louder. It got louder and louder, then softer again until I couldn't hear it.

Then it came back.

And it came back.

hummm... that helicopter is circling, and that means its the police looking for someone.

I got up and looked out the window, sure enough, helicopter with lights.

Now, we leave the back door unlocked because normally the dogs are back there and one of them bites, but she's inside at night because she also barks.

I went to the back door and locked it, and turned on the back light. I then went and turned on the front light - just to kind of help the police see that there wasn't anyone on the porch if they drove by (too many leaves on the trees still to see from the helicopter.)

Well, the helicopter continued to circle and some IDIOT on the street car alarm kept going off.

so, you've got helicopter/car alarm, helicopter/car alarm, helicopter/car alarm, etc., etc., etc.

Bad enough once, but why does he keep resetting the darn thing when he knows its going to go off again?

Finally, the helicopter went away (I still hear it in the far distance) but the car alarm isn't being set off any more.

Now, I appreciate the police looking for criminals, but IF you have a car alarm going off every 5 minutes, why bother resetting it until the thing setting it off goes away?

We have the same problem during thunder storms!

so, here it is at 3 a.m., I'm up and annoyed and jerk with car alarm is probably happily sleeping and I hope jerk criminal either spent the night in a cold wet ditch or cuffed in the back of a cop cruiser...
