What are your views on writing?

Writing is something I have been involved in for a very long time. I have not earned a fortune or gained much notoriety. Nothing I have ever done in my life has given me more satisfaction. I have even gotten a few things published, but nothing that has made much money. I am fine with that because I am proud of my work, and I work hard to improve my writing. The best way to do this is just to keep doing it.

The way I look at it. I write what I believe in and care about. I write what I feel, and what is meant to help others. Oh, don't get me wrong I want to get stuff published and earn a living writing. However, it is not my primary motivation. My primary motivation for writing is to create something lasting. To express ideas which will help others in one way or another.

It is a great joy to see a writing project come to life and see your name on it. The satisfaction is tremendous. When something I have written does get published, the joy is indescribable.

It is important in any craft or art to do your best. I am painstaking about what I write. I want the completed work to be as good as possible. I want people to read what I write, but I must care about the writing itself. I must be true to the subject of the project, and write what I believe.

A writer puts a piece of themselves into everything they write. Because of this fact, a writer must be true themselves.
